Get in touch

You don’t have to phone. You don’t have to book.

Writing is a completely normal way to start. So is asking a question with no intention of booking yet, or saying outright that you are not ready and want to know what it would involve first.

Two lines is plenty: what worries you, and how you would like us to reply.

Direct
  • Email hello@anxiousdentist.co.uk
  • If you would rather not be phoned Just say so in your message. We will reply the way you ask us to and will not ring you.

If you are in pain right now

Do not wait for a reply to an email. Pain is urgent. If you cannot reach a dentist and you are in England, call NHS 111 or use 111.nhs.uk to arrange urgent dental care. Call 999 if you have swelling affecting your breathing, swallowing or vision.

What happens after you write

  1. A reply, the way you asked

Email, text or phone — whichever you chose. No unexpected calls.

  2. Your question answered first

Before any mention of appointments. If your question was the whole reason you wrote, that can be the end of it.

  3. An appointment only if you want one

And if you go quiet, you will not be chased.

Or use this

This form does not send anything by itself — it opens a draft in your own email app so you can read it, change it, and decide whether to send. Nothing is submitted to us or to anyone else until you press send.

Please keep medical detail out of it. Email is not a secure channel. Your health history and medication are taken properly and confidentially when we speak — this is only to get the conversation started.

How we handle what you send us is set out in our privacy notice.

Not ready yet is a fine place to be.

Read what a first appointment actually involves instead. It tends to be smaller than people imagine.
